An Awesome Week

Conner called this morning!  He said for his p-day today he and his companion were able to go to a mountain and it was cooler up there. There were a lot of Tongans there and they smoked a pig and were able to eat some of that.  It sounds as if he really had a fun day.
Conner said it is getting to be the dry season and is much warmer.  He is trying his best not to get too much sun.  I am sending him a Twi and Ewe dictionary as he wants to learn these two languages.  I was also able to order a Twi Book of Mormon to send his way. He has also requested more mole skin although his feet are adjusting to all the walking.  Skittles were also mentioned!!!  He truly is very happy and is enjoying the people.  Makes my heart happy to know he is feeling so much joy in serving.

Here is this weeks email:

Last week was great. We had zone conference, and I learned a lot. We also found several people who we are super excited to start teaching. We also have someone on date for baptism this week. He is super excited about it. I hope everything goes according to plan for him. The thing that I am most happy about is that I feel like I am able to have fun with the people now. Before it was a struggle to even speak to them, but now we are laughing and joking around with them. Ghanaians are really funny people. You really can just go up to anyone here and just act like you know each other. I think that might be why we are finding more people to teach. I am really happy here. I feel like I have the ability to help a lot of people out here. I am so glad to have the opportunity to be here and to give the Lord all of my time. I can see that the harder I work the happier I am. I know that the Lord has been blessing me. I hope things are going well at home. If you have any questions about Ghana let me know.
Love,
