The Best Week So Far in Arkansas!

The Lord really blessed us last week! We were able to find more new people this last week than ever before. We also had our first zoom Come Follow Me (CMF) lesson which counts as church attendance! We had 8 people log on and three of them were investigators! One of the investigators was from a part member family that we have been working with. They had the sacrament in their home for the first time in years. Saturday night we had an incredible discussion about the Book of Mormon. The spirit was strong and bore witness of what we were saying. I love that Book! It really has the ability to unlock the power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ in our lives. It is true and without fault. Anyways, we have been really busy in a really good way. I pray it keeps up. Let me know how you are doing! I would love to hear from you!

Things Picking Up!

This last week was great! We had interviews with President Cahoon and his wife Thursday. They are really hardworking and seem to have limitless energy. The interviews I had were fun, spiritual, and inspiring. I am excited to work under them! We also found more people this last week than any other week I have been here. We also put an older couple on date for Baptism, which hasn't happened here since December! The Lord really has been leading us into really good people that have been prepared for the message. The joy of a missionary is to see their hard work paying off in finding people and helping them progress.
We know there is opposition in all things and this week was no different. We had someone back into our car and run away. This is taking a lot of time to figure out. We just hope we don't have to bike 30 miles one way for appointments this next week while the car is being fixed! We also had to enter back into full quarantine because someone president Cahoon had interviews before us started showing symptoms. We social distance for the most part but we had to play it safe. I guess the person showing symptoms either tested negative or something because we only were in quarantine for 8 hours. Life is good here in Blytheville. I hope y'all are safe and happy. If you haven't yet, let me know how you are doing. Anyways, talk to you later!

Another Good Week!

This last week has been really good, especially in the beginning. We found 4 new people on Tuesday and Wednesday. This is good considering the most I have ever found here in a week is 5, we were really blessed to see that happen.
We had another good Sunday that ended up getting so many people to attend church that they had to set up more chairs. It was fun to see the new faces. Another exciting thing that happened here was we had our first live video here in Blytheville. We answered questions about the Sabbath while playing a game. We had fun and we could feel the spirit while we were doing it. Here is a link to it if you want to go watch it or share it with a friend!  Sabbath Day Lesson

I  hope y'all are safe and doing well right now! If you haven't yet, let me know how you are doing.

A New Mission President and the Church Reopening

Weekly email:

We had a busy week! The beginning of the week was spent driving all over our area trying to meet the members. It was really great to meet them. Friday we had a zone conference with our new mission president. His name is President Cahoon and he seems like an awesome guy. He has a background in business and you can tell he will be using it on our mission. It will be interesting to see where he takes us. His wife sounds just as impressive as he does. I haven't spoken to them for more than a minute yet, but I can't wait to get to know them better.
Saturday we had a car wash at the chapel. We were going to give people tours of the chapel, but only a few members showed up. That was a little bit of a bummer but it was good to serve those members. Sunday we had the church reopening after being closed due to Covid-19. There were about 20 members there, which is good for this branch considering that most of the branch members are elderly and have health issues. We were glad to see a few faces we hadn't met before.
Today I tried my hand at golf.  I felt like I did decent for my first time in 10 years! I hope yall are safe and happy! Email me and tell me how you are doing!
